how 2 reinstall/update usb drivers?

why do you need to update the drivers for your usb ports? you could try checking your manual for your motherboard to find out the kind of usb. if it's a card you bought, you should have the driver disk.

no i get this error sometimes and a blue screen appears saying bug_code_usb_driver...and someone told me to just reinstall and update my usb ports... but i dont know hwo to.....

all i have is my cable modem plugged in and it's working ... but i get that error so i have no idea what the hell to do except update the usb driver

Go to control panel>administrative tools>computer management>device manager
In device manager, expand the "universal serial bus controllers" tree, and delete things from the bottom first, one by one, going upwards. Root hubs and then host controllers. Reboot, and windows will reinstall fresh copies from its driver cache.
