Anyone know of some software that can run periodic checks on the HTML of a webpage and alert you when the page has changed (including authentication to login)?
This site doesn't have RSS on this page as it rewuires you to login to get access.

An admin changed the title above - note i am not trying to check for RSS feeds.

It would be more of the OS security features such as event log or if on linux use it's mechanisms.

The pages and access to are running on some server based on some file structure and OS. Both logon and file tasks can be monitored if you have enough access to the server.

It might be that your ISP if you have a hosted site already has webmin or such to monitor use. Many do if you can find it hidden in the documentation somewhere.

No, sorry, it's not to monitor my own website but to automatically check another website that doesn't have RSS.
