uninstall the stealth program...hotmail is a site that requires a direct feedback connection. If you try to sign in (secure server) it will not let you because you are stealthing your computer with some program.

Thanks for the response. I have no "stealth" program that I know of. I an running on a personal PC at home on Roadrunner. The problem happens on both Firefox and IE. I have cleaned up all of my temp files. Any other ideas?

I've used hotmail for several years now. I didn't realize that if you leave your account unattended for more than 30 days they supend the account. You can get the address back but you have to re-register. The other maybe that you may have had your account hacked which would explain why it wont log you in.

Have you tried logging on from a different computer? Go to a friends computer and logon through it. You may even want to try out one of those internet cafes. If you are able to log in from a different pc then you may have inavertantly corrupted something in your own pc. If reinstalling either IE or Firefox doesn't help you may need to reinstall windows (make sure this is your last course of action). Be sure to also check for viruses and spy/adware.

Truth can become lie, but if lies become truth we're in trouble.
