Lately, I have been getting alot of large-sized mail saying my mail delivery was not successful because of the file "wicked screensaver". I have no idea what this is, does anyone know? Cos it seems hotmail is automatically sending out something and bouncing back to my address

hi

I happened to receive this email yesterday to yahoo account. However, I did not open it cause before that a similar mail came which showed up with sobig virus. Such emails are still coming up with different names.

I am afraid the virus is into your computer.

check with antivirus software

download and run the panda active scan (on-line virus scanner), its very good will kill any and all viruses present, secondly download, install and run adaware (from lavasoft) and spybot search and destroy, these 2 will remove any spyware present ( I say run both coz one will pick up what the other misses), next download and run cleanup, cut and paste the link under into your browser (a brill prog that finishes off what adaware and spybot start), that should sort you, let us know how you get on, hth

as an aside, what firewall are you using, if none, get one, avg, zonealarm or sygate are very good and free

Wicked Screensaver is the the subject line of the SoBig F virus. Don't get too paranoid though, as mentioned you may have a virus but you also may not. This virus sends out "spoof" e-mails and may not be in your system, it may have come from someone you know with your e-mail address in their address book.
