Whenever i visit hotmail site, i need to scroll almost half way down to see my messages. Also when i click any of the messages, the message itself won't open. I'd have to refresh the page. Any ideas?

You can set Hotmail up in Outlook Express, so you don't have to to to the web site. Your emails will be downloaded automatically.

Go to Tools > Accounts > Mail
Do yourself a favor BACKUP!

Mike can you take a screenshot of the page so we can see what is actually causing you to have to scroll down. My initial thought is that maybe your security settings are to high for the site and maybe this is causing an activex issue and the reason you have to scroll down is because it cannot display the images this would usually mean there would be a blank box in place with a small icon in the corner ??
