Hotmail sign in

I should probably know this. My aunt is wondering why she has to keep typing her password when she checks her hotmail. She says that she checks the box stating 'keep me signed in'. I put a shortcut to her hotmail with her password typed in on her desktop. Until recently she said that she would just click on it and it would take her to her hotmail account without having to type in her password. She says she could do this with or without exiting Internet Explorer. I know this is probably a little nit-picky, but she doesn't like change at all and expecially with her computer. Hope I explained this well enough. All opinions and help is respected and appreciated.

It's happened to me too, it must be a little blip!

Vista is even worse. When you sign out to change Hotmail accounts, it asks you to sign out of Messenger and Encarta. I haven't used Messenger for years and have never used Encarta.
