Hey,
Ok, sorry, no idea were i was meant to post
this.
This is probably going to sound pretty random
too :POne of my really good friends has recently
sighed up for his first email adress and alike
me, he chose to use hotmail.
I talked him through setting it up over the
phone, and once we got to the security
question part of it he decided he wanted to be
able to confirm who he was by using my email
address.
As he is very new to computers in general and
talking over the phone brought up a sight-
barrier, i am not sure if he completed this step
properly or not.Could someone please make me aware as to whether i should get an email confirming his
choice to make me virtually administrator of
his account?Thanks,
Atoru

Unless Hotmail has changed since I last set up an account, there is no need for anyone else to be involved in setting it up and maintaining it.

Not exactly what I meant...
There is an option when you are creating an account to
instead of using "Personal information" to identify who you are
in the case of you forgetting your password, you can use an
"Alternate Email".
As my friends skills when it comes to computers are the equivalent to someone who died 3,000 years ago, we decided
it would probably be a good idea to use my email as an
alternate.what I wanted to know is if my account was successfully set
as his alternate. If it was, would i get an email? or how would i
know?Thanks ahead,
Atoru.
