I've somehow installed Home Seach Assistant, Search Extender, and Shopping Wizard. I've used Ad-aware, spy bot, and even Microsoft's anti spyware program and none of them can find it. Can someone help me with what I need to remove them.

Turn off system restore. Then Run a trial of spy sweeper and also use the trace remover on the microsoft program. You might have to do a file search and remove these programs manually.
