Home page changing

Smc Wireless cable/dsl broadband router...

Specs: Windows XP, Intel 1.8/512 ram
My home page is set to //www.yahoo.com occasionally it will change to //m.www.yahoo.com I hate that page so i have to go to another page and clear history and cookies so it will return to where i want it, the original //www.yahoo.com how can i stop this from happening

does seem to adddress it - much along the lines you have for the most part...?

If you were to disable system restore; do the reset as above and maybe reboot... then see if it remains as you wish? If it does, then re-enable system restore?
