Home drives mapping to the wrong level

June 24, 2011 at 02:38:56
Specs: Windows XP
Recently we have started to see user login scripts map Home drive to one level lower than it should do.

ie: Home should map to \\SAN\homes\%username%\My Documents but
maps to \\SAN\homes\%username% instead.

The user can then select the My documents folder but it does cause us some issues and I would prefer to find the fix.

This is a very intermittent issue. Has anyone else seen this and have they found a fix.?

Then the scripts are wrong or there is some prior mapped drives being saved.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

That was my first thought but we have spent lots of time analysing login scripts etc
Other people (checking google) have also reported this problem
