hello!

i'm running the @home (now cox.net) cable connections. i have 2 computers (xp and 98se) both on the internet with 2 IP and 1 hub. i saw the ad on router so i bought one... its the Linksys BEFSR41. how do i setup both computers in order to share 1 IP using the router?

can someone please teach me...

linksys has 24 hour tech support, they answere pretty quick too.

Linksys makes it very easy if you just plug in both your systems and run the default settings for the router it will assign each one an IP address then go from there, use straight thru cables and not a crossover.
Fire up your systems and open your browser,delete the address for your default home page and type in 192.168.1.1 hit enter when the box comes up type in admin in the password box and hit enter, this should take you to the linksys options. you may need to resrt your cable modem if it will not pull up this page.
