Hello people...
I have a question regarding XP HOME edition. I currently have it installed in my machine, but I found that today at work that I would need a copy of XP PRO install at home in order to make some software work. It's a requierment so I have no choice. My question is....
Can I install XP PRO on top of XP HOME and if I do that, will the system give a choice to choose between OS?

why don't you just do an upgrade from home to pro. It won't change your settings or mess up your applications.

I agree. It's pointless to have both installed. If you want to have two OS's. Use two very different OS's.

What's the point on keeping Home around if you have Pro?
My understanding is that Pro has everything home has plus some additional features like remote control and domain based networking capability. Can't go wrong with them even if you don't use.
