History Folder In Xp?

Is there a History Folder in the Windows folder that you can delete the contents like in Win 98? How about Temp Internet Files and TEMP?

the history folder is located in the documents and settings/administrator (or your name)/local settings/history...the temp is in the same folder...but don't erase them yet...i am having a problem making them work again
