There is actually not just one, but 2 backups of your history folder that a person would have to know how to remove. Dumping your history folder only deletes the public history file. The hidden history backup folders keep every website you have ever been on with that computer. The instructions on how to find those history and temporary file folders are at http://www.microsoftsucks.com . However, I tried going to the site to check the directions myself, and the site says that it will be down until August for renovations. You may be able to find out more information by searching the web for information on removing the hidden history folders. You don't want to actually "remove" them, just find out where they are and how to view them. There is a trick to doing it. You can't just search your computer for them, because the hidden backup folders contain a desktop.ini file specificlly prevents the folder from being searchable or displayed with explorer. The site had information on how to disable that to be able to read it, but as it is down, you'll need to look elsewhere.

Normal is a setting on a washing machine.

Unless the other person logged in with your userid, he/she won't have access to your IE History. If that's the case, change your password. If the other person knows the Administrator password, change that as well.

Assuming this is YOUR computer....

As an FYI, Internet Explorer index.dat is the file that contains all Internet history. Power-users are known to delete this to erase all tracks of their browser habits. Once the file is deleted, Internet Explorer will recreate a new one.
