Specs: Windows XP
No clue as to what I am doing, all I know is someone yanked on drive wires and the drive is still good. I saw all data on external drive; (and need all that is on it I may be able to back it up if I can figure that out then start a fresh network(s)but that would have to be by the Power of God and free help from man). Right now I am just trying to get this computer working for now; without loosing data.My whole sloppy network is down due to power outage and man's ill pulling stuff and confused wiring/cables I found the disc Hiren boot disc v9.5 and thought Id be led into fixing this needed computer and data.I do not know of any keys or passwords, computer guy is no longer with me so no assistance there.Have not found a person to help decode this whole networking mess I am placed in. Ask and I shall tell whatever it is I know about this specific computer which isn't much.I just need to get it running and data pics of many extensions saved.Thank YOU! Any help is going to be tried please if you do not know exactly what I need to do. PLEASE do not "try" to help I am not a computer person but in great need of their use.If someone has time to carry me thru this I will be greatly blessed. I am workable. I have much common scense and take instruction well.I am a detailed thinker and ponderer asking more questions then your average bear.No certain cause of problem.
His Service.

One thing at a time. :) What happens when you boot the problem computer? Do you receive any errors?

First try not to write on any of the existing disks. It may be easier to start from a known good system not connected to the system(s) to be repaired.
