Hey my name is Jeremy Borchardt. I have run into a problem (obviously) with my home page being changed to "searchv.com" and resetting itself to that everytime I reboot my computer. Could you please tell me what I should fix or delete using HijackThis. Here is the log. Any value that has "troycable.net" is ok, that used to be my homepage. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated:

First delete the registry entries with "searchv" in, then pop up Internet Settings/Programs and hit the "reset web settings" button. You'll probably have to reinsert your homepage on the General tab.

Hi Jenny,

Run HT again and check the following items. Doublecheck so as to be sure not to miss one.
Next, close all browser Windows, and have HT fix all checked.

You NEED to restart your computer when you're done.

There is one thing missing:
there proberbly is a file sys.reg in your Windowsfolder - you have to delete this file before your reboot
