Hello, i have windows xp, i recently rebooted my pc within the past week or two ok, because it was running very slow and freezing up and every scan program i used never found anything, so i tried that, well now, my internet is basically freezing up again, its reeeeaally slow, the memory usage in task manager on iexplore.exe is running REALLY high again, around 150,000, dont know whats going on, please someone help me, please.. RJ

There is an Iexplore.exe virus...
Iexplore.exe is an executable from microsoft and is a legitimate process for internet explorer. If this is shown as active when internet explorer is not in use then it is probably the virus.
Run your anti-virus program from safe mode to rid yourself of this problem!

yah, i dont have that problem on task manager when not running, as in, iexplore.exe is not on there when the internet is not on, any other advice or reasons on why this might be happening, thanks again. RJ

I have NEVER went back to using Internet Explorer since using Mozilla Firefox. If you are open to using this browser, it will save you LOADS of headache. :)
