High CPU Usage

Hey,
My CPU Usage has been unusually high recently (Around 70% - 100%). Also, when I listen to music or watch videos, the sound breaks up which gets very frustrating :| Frequently when I'm playing games the computer will freeze every 10 secs for a short period of time too. My computer takes extremely long to start up - it's on the loading screen for 5-10 minutes. I'm only guessing the problem is my CPU Usage, but it may not have anything to do with it.

Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) Under the Processes tab, is there any process constantly using a high % of CPU?

Other than System Idle Process - which I believe is supposed to have have a high CPU Usage - no, there are no processes that are high. System Idle Process is at 90+ all the time, but all the other processes stay at 0, plus a few that stay around 1-5.
EDIT: Having a few firefox tabs open increase the firefox usage to 70%+ :|
