Perfmon and taskman would give more details as to what is using the resources.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Hi Polaris,

What kind of Browser or the program that you
are using in the Computer?

What is the Configuration of the Computer?

Check is there is any Virus or Spy ware in
the Computer.

Customize the Start up Item.

or

Go to the Task manager and go to the
Processes Tab, in the Processes tab select
Explorer.exe in the list and end the
Process.

All the browser in the Window will disappear.

Click File in the Task manager select New
Task and Type Explorer.exe and then hit OK.

You will get the Disappeared windows.

Exit the Browser and restart the Computer and
the check the Cpu usage, You will see the
Difference.

Thanks and Regards,
L8ian

Hi Polaris,

How long you are using the computer and how
long your facing this problem?

There is no need of Upgrade the RAM since
your are using 1 GB of RAM.

Is there any Virus, Spy ware or Mal ware is
detected in the Computer?

Can u tell me what are the Process are
Running in the Task manager?

Have you tried by Restarting the Explorer.exe
through the task manager?

If you are able to go online, login to the http://www.ewido.com/en/ or login to
threatfire.com and run the online tool.

Thanks and Regards,
L8ian
