I have a registered version of DAP which I use for downloading software and can be minimised to system tray while downloading. I want to know that is it possible to run DAP by hiding the icon from the system tray? I just want to hide the icons from the system tray and still keep the program running in background. Waiting for some posts on this issue.... Thanks in advance.... Pranav.

With WindowsXP, you can manually select how you want individual icons in the System Tray to be displayed.
Right click on the Taskbar Select Properties Check Hide inactive icons Click on the Customize button This will bring up a dialog box that will allow you to select one of three options for your applications: Hide when inactive, Always hide, or always show Highlight current or past applications and make any changes you like. A small arrow will now appear in the System Tray that will allow you to show or hide these icons.

Although I don't have win2k sp3, I'm guessing you can't do it because I've only seen icons hidden on windows xp using the new luna interface
Ermmm other than that.... Windows 2003 RC2 may have the luna interface..... (still havn't got round to installing it so can't say for sure)
