Hide taskbar programs

Hello! I have two monitors on my system. I have all my chat windows open on monitor two. The problem is that all of those windows bog up my windows taskbar. Is their any way to hide all of those items in the taskbar without minimizing the program?

Right click on the taskbar, click on properties then click the box to hide the taskbar.

Right click on the Taskbar-->Properties-->Group similar taskbar buttons.
AFAIK there is a Registry key which sets the number of windows of a particular type are open before grouping starts, but I can't remember which. Post again if you can't find it on the net.
Ultramon is a good program that provides a taskbar for each monitor. You can download a 30day trial version from

The icon for minimizing all open windows at once is (and restoring them at once) is the Show Desktop icon in the quick launch toolbar.
