Hey all,

anyone know of a program or tweak that will allow me to autohide my quick launch icons? I'm desperately running out of taskbar!

Just resize the toolbar by unlocking the taskbar, clicking the right hand edge, and dragging right. Now lock the taskbar and only the first couple icons will show. If you do this, you will be given a button on the right edge of the toolbar that expands to show the rest of the icons.

I have mine set to only show the first three which are 'Show Desktop', 'Winamp', and 'Internet Explorer'. If I need the rest (I have about 18 total) I just click the little arrow button and it then the shortcut I want. Still quicker than using the Start Menu.

Right click the task bar on an empty space and choose properties and advanced and select each item there and choose hide when inactive.
