Hide hidden files in single folder

...show them in the rest
I want to show hidden files in all folders with the exception of one folder.
Anyone know how I can manipulate this single folder without it applying to all folders? I have tried everything in "folder options" with no luck. Is there a tweak to this single folder's desktop.ini that I can perform to make this happen?

Is it hidden system files in this folder that you wish to conceal and are the files accessed & used by other programs? or are they data files that you wish to conceal from other users or prying eyes? If the latter then check out a bit of software called truecrypt. It's a freebie.
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

You can set the attributes for every folder individually. First under Tools> view> show hidden> apply to all folders. Then go to the folder you wish to hide the files and Right click it> properties> hidden> abox will appear with more options. The result will be that all folder but the one will show hidden files.

to clarify, I only want to hide the "hidden files" (e.g., system files) but want to see these system files in every other folder.
I have nothing to hide but there are some annoying album art pic files in my music folder that show up when "showing hidden system files".
Otherhill, I get no hidden tab when I right click. I can set the attributes to hidden by checking a box but that's not what you meant.
I use XP Pro SP2 if this means anything

Look at the folders from within Windows explorer and make sure the global settings are to show details. The hidden option isn't a tab, just a box to tick on the first screen. I am also running XP pro SP2.

Othehill,
I know I am following your directions but its not hiding the "hidden files" at all. Do I need to reboot afterwards for it to take effect?
