Some programs are poorly written and do not list themselves in the Add and Remove file.

If you know the name of the program open the "Program Files" folder and look inside the folder listed for that program in question. There should be an "uninstall" icon to use for removal.

If there is not then I would contact the programmer via eMail or through their website for removal instructions.

You can also try Your Uninstaller 2004. It will show hidden programs too. It is shareware but I loved how it worked that I went ahead and bought it.

Hi Ertugrul,
You may try this using the search option. It is listed on the www.onecomputerguy.com site. In search type: C:\Windows\Inf\sysoc.inf
(if your OS in on C) This will bring up a list in word Pad. In the components section, simply remove the word "hide" on the item you want to be listed in Add or Remove Programs. This will leave two commas together (like some of the other items listed)Then go to control panel/add or remove programs and the new items should be displayed.
Good luck

Hello Ertugrul,

Check out Microsoft Support Q247501
This will give you instructions so you can find all programs listed in the registry, that can be removed. I just tried it and found a very large number of programs listed in the "uninstall" section.

I ran regedit, Went to HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

After you click on Uninstall you will see all registry keys for all programs that can be uninstalled. "Of course use all the precautions for editing the registry". I have got into trouble a few times and had to re-format the drive.

If you are comfortable with editing the registry follow the instructions that Microsoft shows with Question 247501

Good Luck
