Every now and again my pc will make high pitched, loud, annoying noises noy unlike a pig squealing. These noises are random and hurt my ears...I cant figure out what they are or whats causing them. I'm not using kaspersky [which can make these noises] and never have. Also NAV detects no viruses. Short of pulling out my speakers I cant think of what to do o.0

Only thing I could think of is I've had that happen when my external microphone came too close in range to my PC Speakers. The squealing sound is deafening.

Run SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY and ADAWARE. You can find them on google. It may be spyware. Rgds.

Could it be ur speakers are faulty ??
One way to check would be to plug in headphones - if u got a 2-way adaptor, all the better - if the squeal don't come through the phones, then it must be the speakers !!
GoodLuck and report back if u nail the pig !!

try going to IM and Buddylist sounds and see if that pig sound is in the farm animal list...then set it so you cannot hear sounds from others. I had same problem with galloping horses sound and I had never even been to that site.
