HELP....Pup.exe ??????

I have noticed a process running on start up named 'pup'. The process comes up as 65679568.exe. When I search for pup...I can find it..but that hasn't helped much as I can't seem to find out what this is. Does anyone have any clue and could help me???

pup.exe is a popup ad generator. Try downloading and running either or both adaware and/or spybot to see if they pick it up.
If you have trouble deleting the file because windows is using the file.
go to Start-Run type msconfig select the startup tab and look for the file in the list, when you find it uncheck the box and restart, you should be able delete it now.
