Im not one ot usually get this crap since I run 2 antivirus programs all the time. Today I got some kind of hta infection HTML/ObjlD@exp virus. Both programs fail to remove it under safe mode or in XP since access is denied. I can not get rid of this and have never seen this kind of virus before. The file is not running in the processes and shows that it is in a temporary internet folder which doesnt exist. please advise. thanks.

Did you empty your cookies and delete the temp internet files and delete all off-line content? It sounds like spyware, try Spybot S&D and see if it finds it. Then you can fix it. HTH
If you need a simple solution, try mine. I try to give advise on things that have happened to my PC. Changes in registry can be FATAL!

I searched with 2 spyware removal software including spybot. I have deleted all cookies and offline content as well as everything in the temp folder. I still cannot get either of my antivirus programs to delete the files since they are in use. They are not in the startup or msconfig. I am still scratching my head about this.
