Hi, I'm in desperate need of some help with trojan viruses. I have recently had my Ebay account hacked and believe I have a key logger on my PC. I have run a thousand different spyware and antivirus applications but had no luck.

Through all this I have found out that I have 2 trojans named:
TROJ_LDPINCH.DZ
and
TROJ_DROPPER.EU

The application that found these could not remove them.

Does anyone know how to remove these? They have got into my \HOSTS file in \SYSTEM32 folder and repeatedly add all antivirus websites and liveupdate installers. I can delete these from the HOSTS file but they just re-appear upon rebooting. This leads me to believe something is starting up on bootup that is unwated. I have viewed my MSCONFIG but there is nothing out of the ordinary there. Could this be something in my registry?

Please help me someone! I'm a bit paranoid about putting card details in to shop online now. I can post a HijackThis log if necessary.

Thanks alot in advance.

What application found these Trojans? Have you turned off System Restore and rebooted before you scanned? Have you scanned in Safe Mode?

For your info virus and Trojans love to hide in System Restore points as Windows will not let any virus scanner look in there. By turning off System REstore you will destroy all of your restore points but the virus will now not have a place to hide. When you reboot and scan you can clean your system with a good possibility that the nasties will not reappear.

Good Luck.

Here is a site that will do an online scan for Trojans.
