I have several windows xp pc's and I can not play any games on pogo.com on any. I can get to the site and when I try to play I get "Java Not Found or Not Working " I downloaded the java plugin and followed all the directions and still no luck. I can play the games from a win98 pc on the same network. I tried another win xp machine and I got the same message. Pogo's support was of no help. Can you please try to help me find the answer to this.

Pogo makes you sign up another time just to get support, which sucks. They also hardly ever answer questions. But, that's beside the point. I still use them often, and it works fine for me on XP.

Do you happen to have Java disabled? It seems a silly question, but, if you are security minded like me, you sometimes disable it for various reasons. Also, you must use Microsoft Java if you want it to work right.

Pogo itself tells you that you can have the Sun version, but it never works for me, it makes it so slow and sputtery that it isn't worth playing. In fact, that is the problem with most websites that use Java, they were designed with the Microsoft version in mind.
