I can not open my mail...this is the message I am getting...Does anyone have the answer?

A time-out occurred while communicating with the server. Account: 'CP-TEL', Server: 'cp-tel.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC

cp-tel is my server

You don't mention if you connection is 56k or broadband, and that makes a difference. Giving good information is the key to getting good help.

Time-outs can occur for many reasons. You need to call technical support at your Internet service provider. Possible causes are:

bad connection (phone line)
crappy modem, or improperly installed
improperly configured mail client
Trojan horse or Worm infection on your system
ISP has mail server problems.

Your ISP's tech support is the best place to seek answers for the problem you're having.
