Try downloading and installing the newest java vm - it is version 1.4.2 I believe. My computer came with version 1.4.0 and it did not work for some sites but after I downloaded the latest version from Sun Java website, everything worked fine.

Hey,
It wont download, could you please give me another link?
i'm sorry for bothering, thank you so much!

Sorry the first link I gave was for the SDK and not the VM. Here is the right link.

nothing downloads butI got this message (congrats you now have the lastest version of java software) I guess it means I already have java....what do you think?

Go to the Add/Remove programs list in Control Panel and you should have the Java 1.4.2 or newer version listed there. I think a newer version called 1.5.0 is out now so that maybe the one that downloaded. As long as it is a higher version than 1.4.0 - that older version stops a lot of games from working properly on certain websites.

Ok I have this in my control panel

Is it the right one?
