3.2GHZ Pent. 4 2GB Ram Abit IC7 Mobo Radeon X850 Yesterday I reinstalled windows XP on the above machine at home. I have a problem reconnecting to the internet; I'm hoping for some help with troubleshooting I have installed the Mobo software; the chipset, and also the Intel(r) PROset for windows connections from the abit CD. The network adeptor in the device manager now shows ' 1394 Net adaptor' so I think thats ok. My providor is Virgin Media; (Used to be Blueyonder) There is no internet providor installation CD as all I had to do previously was to plug the network cable in the machine and the internet starts working instantly. Cable Modem is Motorola SB5101E and the router is a Sitecom Broadband router. I have a cable connection to 2 computers. My other PC which is still connected to the router has internet connection, so I understamnd the problem must be with the reinstalled PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated - Cheers! Ash Boo!
