Hi, I have just received an Apple iPod Photo 40GB for Christmas, but can't use it because iTunes will not install on my computer. I have Windows XP, which meets all the requirements for the iPod but I am constantly seeing an error screening saying:
I've been to the InstallShield support page but none of their solutions have fixed my problem. I went to configure my DCOM settings but all were correct. I'm dying to use my iPod, does anyone know how I can solve this problem? I know it's Christmas time, but I would appreciate anyone's help as soon as possible!

A bit of investgation via Google suggests this:
(For error numbers 2147143679, 2147467259 or 2147024891) Install latest version of MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components). http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm

I downloaded MDAC version 2.8 and it said it was incompatible with my type of Windows and that all its features are currently part of Windows. Am I downloading the right file, or if not, could you provide me with a link to a more specific page? Thanks Alex
