Comment:

I downloaded a file that was split into thirteen parts with hjsplit and joined it back together, but it will only play the first twelve or so minutes. The file is 1.11GB, so it should be the whole file. (The files were labeled wrong so I had to rename them before I joined them, if that makes any difference.) What can I do to make it work?

Have you looked into HJSplit user manual available below?

My guess is that you made a mistake re-labeling the files (around the 12 minute area) and have them in the wrong sequence.

XpUser, I looked, but I couldn't find anything that helped.

aegis, I relabeled them one at a time (from 01 to 001, 02 to 002 and so on), so I don't think that's the problem.

Try renaming them back to the way they were so that the program can find the correct references.

Bryan, I just tried and it seemed to work, but the file will still only play about twelve minutes?

Probably a corrupt download.

Dear off:

I use FileSpliter. It is the easiest program I have tried.

http://www.dekabyte.com/filesplitte...

This new version 1.3 can split files up to about 9 billion gigabytes.

Hope this helps.
