I'm sure Disk Management is there, but it won't help you. You can't format the drive you're working from.

Before you do anything, download all the XP compatible drivers that you'll be needing - chipset, video, sound, network, wireless, SATA, etc. - & burn them to a disc or copy them to a USB flash drive. Assuming you a SATA HDD, you're going to have to create a new XP disk with the SATA drivers slipstreamed into it. XP will NOT install without the SATA drivers. Once you have the drivers & have created the new disk, simply boot off it & follow the instructions.

Consider a virtual machine or at least a dual boot before I wiped the drive.

Also you may need to know if there are files that you need or disks that you need to make now in-case you need to go back to Vista.

As mickliq suggests, it is not easy to install xp to new systems.

What is wrong with Vista? It is better for most people than xp.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
