Hi all

Anyone know how to get my mothers' windows the right way up?

Basicly the start button is in the top right-hand corner of the screen, from what she said, I get the feeling that somehow the os has turned 180degrees. Is there a remedy in some settings somewhere that can easily fix this?
Thanks in advance.

If you mean that the whole task bar has moved to the right of the screen just click and drag it back to the bottom, or to the left or the top. Where ever you want it.

Before you do what Staurt suggested, unlock the taskbar first. Otherwise it won't move.

It might be a prank. Some video adapter drivers allow you to rotate the screen image. Go to Display Properties > Settings > advanced and browse through the options to see if you can find a 'rotate' option.

demonling, If you're still having the problem press the Ctrl and Alt keys together then either the up or down or right or left arrow key to rotate the screen.

Yeah, it must be that the picture is rotated - otehrwiset eh "Start" button would be in the top-left not the top-right.

This is a common cumputer prank. Follow Tufenuf's suggestion. If that doesn't work, then check the display properties as aegis recommends.

Michael, don't overlook another prank known as Joke.Flipped. It's a virus that is supposedly easy to kill.
