Hi, My Computer Wont install ANY automatic updates everytime i go to update. it just says failed. ive run the system restore and gone back to a previous point in which the updates would have installed, but still no luck, Theres 5 updates all failing, there .NET Updates and ive been told before to remove them by going to control panel but it doesnt let me as it says.. 'windows installer could no be accessed' i cannot download or update the windows installer because it says i already have a newer version. please help! thanks in advance :)

Thanks but ive already tried them, ive even tried restoring my computer to a previous point and still no luck.. thanks again anyway p.s i think ive tried every way possible and nothing seems to be working, i cant reinstall windows i didnt receive a disk when i bought it :S

I think on some computers nowadays you have to make your own Recovery CD. I do not know what Make and Model you have. For if you have an HP or Compaq computer--- Go here--- http://h18000.www1.hp.com/ then enter in your exact Model name, and number, then tick what information you want to know, then proceed from there.

Its all good now, turns out i did get a disk my dad just didnt give it to me because he thought i might lose it :)
