help removing conime.exe

WHen i delete conime.exe from my windows/system32 folder it appears back with 30 seconds and this happens over and over. My pc has been running slow and i can not figure it out. I have run a trojan and virus software and it does not detect anything. Please help

In w2k, which is a lot like XP, the OS will put system files back pretty quickly.

It's trying to protect itself.

I guess you'll need to boot in DOS and delete all instances of that file.

There's probably one in the recycle bin and one in the 'restore' directory.
