Help! Problems after Cloning HDD

In order to get rid of Windows Vista on my new Laptop, I cloned the hard drive from my HP Desktop directly to the Hard Drive of my new Sony Vaio. It worked perfectly, except that now I cannot load the XP drivers from Sony onto my VAIO because it thinks it's an HP. How can I fix?

What a mess. Wipe the HDD & do it the right way. Install XP from scratch & hope that there's XP compatible drivers for your Vista hardware.

It doesn't think anything.
There should be nothing stopping you from applying drivers. They do have to be XP drivers and not Vista.

you missed the OEM part. You can't apply viao drivers to a clone of an HP

Besides, if you have XP installed on another machine, legally you can't install it on a second computer. You'd have to buy another license/installation CD.
