Ok well, Here's the deal. I just got my computer fixed. When I got it back, I went to listen to Gc's "Predictable". When I got that far, It appeared to be playing. But I didn't hear anything... So I went to get back of my computer and played around with the speaker plug and the sockets. I tried it in every socket. No luck. Then I read through some of the troubles on here. I decided to go to the Control panel to look for Multimedia whatever its called. Not there. So I went to Sound and audio devices. It says theres no audio device. I know there is but it says its not there! I finally found where to go to get to "Advanced Volume controls" and it gave me a message "There are no active mixer devices avalible. to install mixer devices, go to control panel, go to printers and other hardware, and click add hardware. This program will now close."
Please help! It's really irritating me because I wanna listen to Gc!

The Troubled One:
First make sure the sound card is plugged in correct and usually the sound card has a small cable going from it to the CD player.
Check that. If you can hear with earphones to a CD but not through the speakers, you need that cable.
Next, you may certainly have to reinstall the software for the sound card. If you don't have it then go to the site of the manufacturer and get it or even a generic type from a site.
Good luckRalph(jazzbo)

Thanks for trying, but I already tried that, still no luck :( I'm trying it again, but still no luck:(
There are only 3 kinds of people in the world who can count. Those who can, and those who can't.
