HELP! Nero made my CD/RW disappear!

installed Nero5 and it made my CD/RW-drive disappear. BIOS finds it but XP doesn't. it's not there in "my computer" and i can't "add new hardware" because XP doesn't find it. uninstalled nero but it didn't work. what should i do?
doesn't help, since there are no "UpperFilters" or "LowerFilters" to remove in the folder told by the article

Geez Nezt, I wish you would have posted the fix! I have the same problem. The Microsoft fix didn't help me for the same reason: no upperfilters or lowerfilters. Can anyone else help?
