Hi, My Computer Wont install ANY automatic updates everytime i go to update. it just says failed. ive run the system restore and gone back to a previous point in which the updates would have installed, but still no luck :( please help. thanks in advance :)

Which update failed? If it is a .NET update you have to uninstall all .NET systems in your add and remove programs before you run the update.

Yeah, Its .NET and i cannot uninstall them because it says 'windows installer cannot be accessed' even on an administrator account and when i try to install or update windows installer it says 'you cannot update or install windows installer because you already have a newer version' or something along those lines. please help :(
