i am missing a file on my computer to download yahoo meesenger it is c:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe where can i find this file i have tryed to search for it on my computer but the file is not there and what is this file?.

charbin2832, That file should be in your C:\windows\system32 folder. A copy of it should also be in your C:\windows\system32\dllcache folder which is a hidden folder. Go into Folder Options and under the View tab select "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide protected operating system filed (recommended)", click Apply/OK, then go into the C:\windows\system32\dllcache folder find the regsvr32.exe file, right click it and choose "Copy". then open the C:\windows\system32 folder find an empty space, right click and choose "Paste".
Note that I'm assuming that "C:" is the letter of the drive that Windows is installed.
