You thread lacks the proper coherence - calm down and tell us exactly what the main problem is.

You must be using one of the later versions of Windows 95 in order to support USB. If your version has that support, it is disabled by default - you have to take some steps to turn on the USB support.
More info here:

"...I want to Format again i can't,..."

More explantion is required.

Also - if you use a regular Windows CD to install Windows rather than using the Recovery CD procedure to install the software and Windows that came with your system when it was new, you must load the proper drivers for your motherboard in order for Windows to properly recognize your motherboard chipset and it's USB support, and you will probably have to find other drivers for devices that were not recognized even after doing that.

Is f777 the same person as Farid?

Did your internet work before, and now it's not working, or do you not have your computer hooked up to the internet?

If you are having problems connecting to the internet, you do not need to re-install Windows - there are other things you can do to fix that.

Where is this command prompt?
You can't format the same drive letter as the drive letter in the prompt.
E.g.
- you can't format C if you are in Windows at the command prompt C:\Windows or C:\ or C:\whatever. You need to use a bootable floppy disk with the operating system files on it (for Win 95), and Format for the operating system (Win 95).
- you can't format C at a C:\ prompt when you are using a floppy boot disk. Type: a: (Enter) to change to an A: prompt, then type format C:. The floppy disk must have the operating system files on it (for Win 95), and Format for the operating system (Win 95) must be on the floppy.

If you don't have such a bootable floppy, you can download the files for one from the internet on another computer.

If you have already run Windows Setup and the C drive has a fresh copy of Windows on it, you DO NOT need to run Format.

In order for your USB ports to work:
- you must be using one of the later versions of Windows 95 in order to support USB. See response 2. If you do NOT have one of the later versions of Win 95, you CANNOT use USB on your computer.
- if you DO have a version of Win 95 that has USB support, after Windows Seup has finished, you must load the drivers for the motherboard for at least main chipset so that Windows has the proper information about the motherboard, including it's USB support.
- after you have loaded the motherboard main chipset drivers, you must enable the USB support in Win 95 - see response 2.
- THEN your USB ports will work.

.....

If you don't know what main chipset drivers to load, we need to know the exact model of Toshiba computer so that we can tell you where to get them.

Re-installing Win 95 was a complete waste of time unless you had wiped it out.

SEE MAIN DRIVERS, below.
- after you have loaded the motherboard main chipset drivers, you must enable the USB support in Win 95 - see response 2.
- THEN your USB ports will work.

Toshiba 460CDT

There is NO SUCH THING as a Tecra 460CDT, but there is a Satellite Pro 460CDT.

Specifications for Satellite Pro 460CDT
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/...

Pentium 166mhz with MMX
Onboard video - Chips and Technology C&T F65554
Onboard sound, onboard modem.
It's not a PII, so it has an Intel 430 series main chipset.

MAIN DRIVERS
The main chipset may or may not be auto detected by Win 95.
To make sure it is detected properly, get the INF update utility here to install the proper information about the chipset, including the USB support:
http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scr...
.......

Windows 95 probably will not identify other things built into the computer - the onboard video, onboard audio, and the onboard modem.

You must go here and get these downloads:

Downloads for 460CDT:
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/...

Use Filter by Operating system - select Win 95

Get everything and install them,
except these are optional:
Modem - Lotus Notes modem profile for Tecra/Portege internal modems
Toshiba Utility - Toshiba System LED Application (Win95/98)
