either go to the manufacturer of your computer and search the support/download drivers section for the mobo drivers of the model of your computer or to the motherboard manufacturer site.
intel pentium motherboard doesn't help anyone as there are litterally thousands of those!

Go to control panel and click on administrative tools. Then click on computer management and then device manager. Move down to sound controllers and double click on your sound device to make sure it is enabled and working. More than likely you might have to reload the drivers which can be found at their website.
