Help please, I have a secondary comp at home (win 98 / cable internet), presently running
Symantec Antivirus Client Corp Edition).
Now when I try to perform a live update I get the following msg
Live update could not get the list of updates. Live update could not retrieve the catalog file of avail symantec product updates. Please check that your connection to the internet is functioning correctly and retry live update. My connection is fine as I network this comp
with another via a router. Any suggestions?

Look for a file named s32luhl.dll and rename it .old. If that doesn't work search for "settings.liveupdate" and delete all of them. It may work only once and revert to the message. In that case you will have to uninstall and reinstall. Went through this yesterday. Good luck.
