Help i have a virus

i have a virus and it wont let me open anything, it gives me this blah blah blah is not a valid win 32 operation i was thinking about formating my harddrive if i cant get any help but i dont know hwat to do since i dont have the windows xp disc i think i have a boot disc but that doesnt work either i restart the computer and it just gives me this weird A:/_ message type thing and i think i ahve to type something but i am not sure what so any help on any of the 3 problems would be really really really appreciated if you have aim my name is pilsburywiteboy

How do you know it's a virus that's causing your problem? If you havent got a virus scanner, you really need to get one, otherwise make sure your one is up to date. In the mean time, go to http:\\housecall.trendmicro.com and run their free virus scanner.

You might have the XP install files on your hard drive. Look for an i386 folder.

On second thought, it could be named something else (perhaps `CABS'). There should be a whole bunch of files in it that start with `XP' .
