F8 before windows loads. Keep tapping it

Just keep tapping the F8 button when you first boot up, and dont stop till it gives you the menu. It should actually go to the window where the bar is scrolling across, then take you to the menu.

in case u r using dual system, press F8 when the selection menu between the 2 systems appears, this takes u to the advanced menu giving u many options including the safe mode : ) good luck.
