I have five user accounts set up on my Packard Bell IConnect. Only the users who have administrator access can use the scanner and play some games. How can I let limited accounts use the scanner and play games without making them administrators?

From the Admin account, right click the app so and click try to find a setting so that it can be set up to be used as a different user ( I think it's in one of the property's tab settings). Once that's done, switch to one of the restricted accounts and right click on the app and select "run as a different user". It'll prompt you to select a user and it also contains "Administrator". A restricted user will have to use one of the admin accounts to run the program. Which leads to one important question, why set up restricted accounts when restricted users will the password to the Admin account??? Unless you'll always be around to type in the password, you might as well set all users up in the Admin account.

make them members of the Administrator group, run the software you want them to be able to access so it can register itself properly etc, then remove them from the Admin group. Works most times.

I should have said, run the software from THEIR account, not the Admin's.
