I have gone through every step i could that is listed in this site...i canNOT get .net messenger to GO AWAY...must i reinstall windows to get RID of this nuisance? The steps that worked last time (I have NO idea why it even started up again!) are not working this time!?? HELP!!!

how do i STOP .net messenger from automatically opening up?

Hi
This will remove MSN Messenger.
I think it will fix the problem.
Start/Run and type in(or copy and paste)
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
